The popular Yoruba actress, Margaret Bandele Olayinka, also known as Iya Gbonkan, who revealed how she was almost killed after acting as a feared witch in the movie “Koto Orun” that led her to stardom, also revealed how she dealt with the witch that tried to initiate her into their clan, which eventually led to the witch’s death.
The theater veteran in the interview with “Japagogo TV” revealed that she used a turning stick (Oregun in Yoruba) to hit the witch while approaching her at 12 midnight, taking a nude shower.
“After telling the witch that I was not interested because I have a God. She continued to bother me every day at 12 midnight. The very night I dealt with her, I was taking a shower on the veranda, because I knew she would come at midnight, I was already holding a stick, when she approached me, I asked; hey “Abangada”, the deceiving bird. the cruel bird what do you want? As she wanted to peck me, I hit her with the stick, the side where I hit her made her sick until her death, ”she said.
