Highest Paid Footballers In Italian Serie A – Top 14

Every year we update you with the highest-paid Italian Serie A players showing the advantage each of the footballers has over others. Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest-paid player in Italian football, according to a list released by various sports portals.

Cristiano Ronaldo receives a salary almost three times higher than the second-placed in the list of highest-paid players in Serie A.

With 31 million euros a year, the Portuguese is followed by  Matthijs De Ligt  (12 million). The Juventus striker receives the same as the entire Verona group and more than the entire squads of Spezia, Crotone, and Verona.

Among the top 14 in the list of the Italian newspaper, the fact that seven are from the Turin team stands out. Inter has four athletes, Milan has two, and Napoli, one.

Despite the predominance on the list, the Turin team was the one that reduced its costs the most in relation to the previous season, cutting 58 million euros in the payroll.

Even with the reduction, Juventus spends the most (236 million euros). Inter Milan (149 million) and  Roma (112 million) appear next among those who most pay their athletes, a list that has  Spezia (22 million) in the last position.
