The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday night reported 11 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease in the country.
According to the report which was announced by the health agency in a tweet on its Twitter account at about 11 pm on Tuesday, April 14, Eleven new cases of the novel virus have been discovered in Lagos State.
The development was coming just a few hours after 9jatoday reported that 19 news cases of the Coronavirus global pandemic have been reported in Nigeria.
The tweet reads: “Eleven new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Lagos State.”
“As at 11:00 pm 14th April there are 373 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 99 have been discharged with 11 deaths.”

Meanwhile, 9jatoday has reported earlier that the European Union has donated 50 million euros to Nigeria to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
A delegation from the European body made the announcement on Tuesday during a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in the Presidential Villa.
