Some unidentified gunmen have on Monday raided a village in Isaiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, killing a renown businessman.
According to the report which was made available on Wednesday, it was said that Ugochukwu Oguine was killed at night on Monday, along Okigwe-Owerri Expressway in Anara village.
It further reveals that the renowned businessman, Ugochukwu who was shot right in front of a Church identified to be Assemblies of God Church, managed to drive to Bonimas petroleum station in Anara, his hometown where he finally gave up the ghost.
Spokesperson state police command, Orlando Ikeokwu, who confirmed the incident, said that the Commissioner of Police had ordered an investigation into the killing.

President Buhari in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, has on Tuesday, in Abuja, condemned the killing of Lawan Andimi, who until his death was the chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Michika local government area of Adamawa.
Buhari described the killing of the clergyman as cruel, inhuman and deliberately provocative.
President Muhammadu Buhari regretted that the terrorists killed the religious leader while giving signals of a willingness to set him free by releasing him to third parties.
