Air Peace received the delivery of a new ERJ-145 aircraft to help boost its domestic and regional operations. The aircraft, with registration number 5N-BXG, arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Airport around 7:30 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, from Morocco.
Disclosing this, the airline’s senior communications executive, Mr. Stanley Olisa, said the new arrival is a 50-seat jet. He declared: “Air Peace is very happy to announce the arrival of its seventh Embraer 145 jet, which is undergoing routine checks in Morocco.”
Olisa, who reaffirmed the airline’s determination to ease the travel burden in Nigeria and beyond, noted that the company now has 27 aircraft in its fleet.
He said: “With this latest ERJ-145, we now have 27 aircraft. Don’t forget that we are still waiting for some Embraer 195-E2 jets that we ordered last year ”.
The airline’s imager assured the public that the airline is ready to interconnect several cities across the country and promised more domestic and international routes such as Johannesburg, London, Houston and Mumbai.
It is recalled that Air Peace, the largest airline in West and Central Africa, last year, at Dubai Airshow, signed an order for 3 E195-E2 jets. This is in addition to the previous 10 orders. With these orders from Embraer, the airline became the launch customer for this type of aircraft in Africa
