It does not just require getting the right people for the job, but also managing those people to put in their best and attain the aim and objective of the enterprise. Employees are very key to the success of the enterprise as they are the ones that are in direct contact with the end-users and they speak a lot about the organization.

1. Pay Them Right and on Time

 This is very important and it is one of the best ways to motivate your employees and get the best out of them. An employee that is well compensated for his work is motivated to do more as the salary is a reward for their work. And you should endeavor to pay them up to standard according to the industry. Endeavor not to pay less than your competitors or a little more if possible so as not to lose your best hands to your competitors.

 It is better to reward for the best performance than to give penalties for breaking rules. This will encourage the employees to do more and work harder. While bigger companies can put in place things like health packages, scholarship, cooperative and others for the benefits of the employees, the smaller companies can be very close personally to the employees and attend a function like birthdays and parties to create a kind of closeness within employees.

4. Empower the Employee

 It is necessary to empower your employees with the right training for maximum productivity and after awhile access them and retrain. It is also necessary to provide them with the proper working tools and working environment.

5. Set Goals

It is important for you to set the goal for the company and make the employee a part of that goal. It should be an attainable goal and every achievement should be celebrated with the employee as they will feel being a part of that achievement and strive to achieve and attain higher heights.
