The Verdic Lifecare Hospital in Lekki, Lagos, has advised visitors to its facilities in the past 10 days to proceed with self-isolation.
The hospital, in a statement released on Monday, said it had admitted a patient who tested positive for COVID-19.
The patent was said to have tested positive after he was discharged, but two hospital employees had contracted the disease.
“We also had two employees who tested positive last night.
“The patient and our team are now being managed by the NCDC in its isolation center,” said the hospital.
“At the moment, they have no symptoms. All employees have maintained mandatory PPE equipment since the last 25 days.
“The facility is currently closed for decontamination of the building. The fumigation was already carried out by the NCDC on April 18.
“We are currently testing the remaining team members and will continue to update everyone on all platforms.
“If you have visited the hospital in the past 10 days, we ask that you take the test and be isolated.”
