Obaseki Wins Edo Governorship Elections
Godwin Obaseki of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has emerged winner of the gubernatorial elections held in Edo state on Saturday, 19th October 2020.
Reports reaching 9ja news says Godwin Obaseki of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has emerged winner of the gubernatorial elections held in Edo state on Saturday, 19th October 2020.
The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) Returning Officer, Prof. Akpofure Rim-Rukeh made the announcement on Sunday by announcing the total result of the election.
According to him, APC polled 223,619 votes, while PDP got 307,955 votes.
Obaseki has been given the mandate of Edo people to govern again for a second term.
