Reports reaching 9ja news says that the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu on Saturday took a tour of the State High Courts to see the state of the facilities.
According to the Governor, “The objective of the tour is to strengthen the collaboration between the executive and the judiciary”.
He added that his administration was ready to improve the infrastructure of the courts across Lagos state.
The Governor says that “the Judiciary can only serve the course of justice in a conducive environment and with the right working conditions.
Lagos State Judiciary is reputed as the foremost judicial service in the country because of the number of judges we have and their impressive calibre”
Speaking further, Sanwo-olu says that his government is looking at not only the physical infrastructure but also the welfare of the judges.
“It goes beyond just talking about separation of powers, we see ourselves as partners in our collective quest to deliver service to the citizens”.he said.
