On Monday, two yahoo boys, kidnapper and a native doctor were killed and burned by residents of the Otuo community in the local government area of Owan East.
Three of the dead and burned were identified in the 17-year-old death, Ohiole Glory, who was a student at Azama College, Otuo.
The fourth person was said to be an armed robber and a notorious kidnapper known as Lukman.
Sources explained that the victim was said to have come from Ikhueran Quarters, Iyeu Otuo, and is expected to write his WAEC and NECO later this year.
The victim’s vital organs were removed when his body was discovered.
In addition to the death of the suspects, some buildings belonging to the families of the suspects were razed to the ground.
We gathered information that the victim lived in the same complex with two of the suspects at Ikhueran Quarters Iyeu Otuo.
The source said one of the suspects popularly known as No F*ck Up was arrested through an investigation and named his associates after violent beatings.
It was said that he was dragged to Otuo police headquarters and killed in the presence of police officers and his corpse burnt.
A second suspect was reportedly caught a few hours later and he was set on fire.
It was concluded that the third suspect was subsequently arrested and, after questioning, he said that they were sent by a native doctor to Kogi State.
He reportedly said that she will be using the victim’s separate human parts to perform a ritual for them.
She was caught in her residence, killed and set on fire.
When contacted for comment, Edo police commissioner Jimeta Lawan said he was informed by the division’s police officer.
Lawan said agents at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) are conducting a full investigation of the matter.
