BREAKING: US Approves Chloroquine To Treat Coronavirus

The United States has approved the popular anti-malarial drug “chloroquine” for use as a treatment against the new coronavirus, President Donald Trump said on Thursday.

“We will be able to make this medicine available almost immediately, and that is where the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has been so good,” Trump told reporters.

“They went through the approval process – it was approved. They took it from many, many months to immediate ones. Then, we can make this medicine available on prescription.”
