The Nigerian Music Industry has lost a veteran, a popular trumpeter, singer, Dr Victor Abimbola Olaiya.
The news of Dr. Olaiya’s death broke the internet after confirmation from the legend’s record label, Evergreen Music Company, through its managing director, Bimbo Esho.
Bimbo Esho on Wednesday, (today) February 12, confirmed to newsmen that the music legend has died.
Bimbo while reporting the news prayed that the almighty God will give fortitude of bearing the loss to the entire family of the legend and as well as the Nigerian music industry.
9jatoday understands that Dr Olaiya died at the age of 89. RIP to the Legend.
