Securities Nabbed A Driver In Lagos Airport With Drugs

At the breaking of Saturday morning, February 15, a driver working the Murtala Muhammed International Airport was nabbed with drugs while trying to smuggle it in a car.

9jatoday according to the report, learned that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency was handed an airport worker in the airport after he was caught with drugs at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

It was said that the culprit who is one of the drivers in the airport was trying to get away with some bunch of drugs inside a car before he was nabbed by securities in the airport.

However, the name of the driver has not been revealed yet, as investigations are still ongoing as regards his arrest.

Meanwhile, a source in the airport has told newsmen that some other persons who has a connection with the drug smuggling has been caught too.

Reacting to the incident, an NDLEA source has told reporters that the agency is still carrying out thorough investigations to dig out more details as regards the incident and that a reason for not disclosing the name of the driver yet.

In another news, 9jatoday had reported that a Nigerian Police Van was sported transporting people in a popular area in the Lagos state following Okada and Keke Napep ban by Governor Sanwo-Olu’s administration.
