Edo Inauguration to be Marked Without Funfare

The Special Adviser to Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki on Media and Communication Strategy, Crusoe Osagie says the inauguration of the Governor and his vice, Philip Shuaibu will be sober.

According to Osagie, the occassion will be marked without funfare. He says the November 12 inuaguration wouod be held in line with the prevailing national mood caused by the impact of Covid-19 and the #Endsars protest.

“Activities slated for the inauguration ceremony of Governor Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu for a second term in office, scheduled for November 12, 2020, will be sober and without fanfare, in respect of the prevailing mood of the country”.

Speaking further, Osagie saud limited persons would be present physically to witness the event so he urged Edo People to watch the live broadcast on the different media channels.
