Man Utd Manager Solskjaer Speaks On Ighalo's Scoring Ability

English Premier League side, Manchester United has listed the name of Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo among nominees for the club’s Player of the Month award for March.

The former Super Eagles player who now plays as forward for his dream club after reaching 30 years of age was nominated alongside Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire and Fred to arrive favourite for the March player of the month award in United.

9jatoday understands that it is Ighalo’s first nomination at Old Trafford since his signing in January.

Ighalo, since he made his way into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad have become a boost to the club in all matches featured.

The January signee who only has six month deal with the Red Devils have been netting wonderful goals for the Premier League club.

It could be recalled that Ighalo had in March alone scored three goals including a brace in their 3-0 win over Derby County in the FA Cup.

Also, the Nigerian young man has produced himself a man-of-the-match display against LASK where he scored a goal and provided an assist in their Europa League triumph last Thursday.

Meanwhile, his teammate, Bruno Fernandes has been awarded Premier League player of the month of February on Monday.
