Gov. Sule Goes Into Self-Isolation After COVID-19 Test

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has reportedly gone into self-isolation following a visit to his house by the team of the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

It was reported that the NCDC on Wednesday, March 25 visited the governor Sule to take a sample from him which will be used to check for his status on the ongoing global pandemic.

9jatoday understands that the Coronavirus outbreak in Nigeria as at this time has risen to 51 following a fresh case in Rivers State.

Reporting on the part of governor Sule, the Nasara State Director General, Strategic Communication and Press Affairs, Yakubu Lamai, confirmed that the Sule has gone into self-isolation and would be working from home until his test result is out.

Lamai said that doing so for the governor is necessary as a precautionary measure against exposure to the deadly Coronavirus attack.

He, however, said that the general public would be informed when the governor’s test result is finally out, as well as other government officials in the state.
