Definitely… So annoying… And I’m sure that is how average Nigerians feel too.

On every daily basis, bank customers are faced with one challenge or the other while transacting with the commercial bank’s staff in Nigeria. This rudeness and I-don’t-care attitude of the cashier is becoming more annoying.

Below are how to lodge a Complaint against your Bank to CBN in Nigeria.

  1. For Excess Charges

In case you are charged excessively whenever you transact using your bank account, endeavor to visit your bank and laid the complaint before them.

After that, patiently wait for 30 days for them to take action and resolve the issue. But if they failed to resolve it after the 30 days has elapsed, then you can contact CBN through:

  1. Transfer or Card Issue

Also, many bank users do complain bitterly how their ATM card is frustrating the hell out of them whenever they are making a transfer.

The first thing you are to do in such instance is to go to the bank and lodge a complain, if they failed to resolved it after 72hrs, contact CBN through:

  1. Account Management Issues

If your account is being managed wrongly, endeavor to visit the  bank for complaint, give them 14 days to resolve the issue but they failed, contact CBN via:

Lastly, the CBN, however, urge all bank users to always ask for their ‘Consumer Complaint Management System’ (CCMS) tracking number whenever they lodge any complaint to their bank.
