Police Arrests Teenager For Sodomizing 6-Year-Old Boy In Jigawa

The Jigawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Monday, April 13, through its spokesperson, Adamu Shehu, confirmed an arrest of a teenage boy for allegedly sodomising a child belonging to their neighbour.

Shehu noted that the command has arrested one Muhammad Abdullahi, 19, a motorcycle spare part seller, after the report by the victim’s father who confirmed the crime to the security men.

It was reported that the mother of the victim, upon noticing some strange changes in her child’s attitude interrogated him and he confessed to her what has been happening between Muhammad and her 6-year-old child.

9jatoday is informed that the suspect was arrested on Monday in Dutse, a community in the capital city of Jigawa State.

Shehu confirmed also that the culprit has confessed to the crime, narrating that he used to lure the young child to a bush not far from their house where he usually carries out the immoral act.

A medical report obtained by the NSCDC Jigawa state command from Dutse General Hospital confirmed anal penetration, but there is no trace of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD).

Shehu, however, confirmed that the suspect would be arraigned before a chief magistrate court for prosecution as soon as they are done investigating the crime which contravenes the laws of the land.
