President Muhammadu Buhari has embarked on another journey to the United Kingdom for a crucial meeting.
9jatoday understands that Buhari has left Nigeria on Friday to join other African leaders and business owners for a crucial meeting that is targetted at boosting the nations’ economy through investment.
The President was accompanied by Governor of Gombe, Alhaji Mohammed Inuwa Yayaha and Abia State Governor, Chief Okezie Ikpeazu, to the UK-Africa Investment Summit which is scheduled to commence on Monday.
Also, the summit is said to deepen Nigeria-United Kingdom investment ties post-Brexit given that Africa currently represents just two per cent of British trade activity, with Nigeria accounting for only 10 per cent of that total.
