Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido’s father is one of the richest business magnates in Nigeria. He was born in Enugu on March 6, 1957. Even though he hails from a town, Ede in Osun State. Deji Adeleke is a philanthropist, a devout Christian, an educator, and a disciplinarian.

After passing his WAEC, Deji Adeleke worked briefly with the Federal Ministry of Education. Before he gained admission into Western Kentucky University in the USA where was awarded his bachelor’s degree in Finance. He completed his master’s degree in Business Administration(MBA) in 1978. He also had a Ph.D. degree in International Business at Pacific Columbia University, mills valley, California in 1983.

In early 1966, Deji Adeleke created a non-profit organization known as Springtime Development Foundation(SDF) to sponsor youths who are from low-income families through tertiary school.
