Police Arrests Man For Raping 18-Year-Old-Girl In Yobe State:
Despite efforts of Nigerian security agencies to curb rape and child abuse in the country, some persons who have pledged their allegiance to the devil would not stop until they meet their unexpected end.
This was the case of a middle-aged man whose name is identified as Ado Alhaji Kanwa who was nabbed by men of the Nigerian Police Force in Yobe state, for allegedly raping a female child who is less than 2 years of age.
According to reports received by 9jatoday, Ado, an indigene of Kazaure, Jigawa State but a resident in Karasuwa in Yobe State, has been arrested for allegedly defiling 18-month-old girl.
Confirming the report on Thursday, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Dungus Abdulkarim, told newsmen that Ado had raped one girl child, whose name is given as Adama Mohammed in Karasuwa LGA.
Dungus reported, “During the week under review, Yobe State Police Command, through Karasuwa Divisional Police Headquarters succeeded in arresting one Ado Alhaji Kanwa who hails from Kazaure, Jigawa State but presently residing in Karasuwa LGA of Yobe State for peasant farming.

However, the State Commissioner of Police has urged residents in the state to always report all forms of criminality around them while going about their lawful activities.
