Senegal National Player and Liverpool Striker, Sadio Mane have won the 2019 CAF Award.
The Liverpool forward has been crowned the African Best Player of the year in the Men Category.
9jatoday reports that Sadio Mane beats his English Premier League teammate Mohamed Salah and Manchester City forward, Ryan Marez to win the CAF Award.
9jatoday also understands that Marez could not make it to the event which took place in Egypt, as he features in Manchester City’s squad to play against Manchester United in the Europa Cup on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Former Arsenal Manager, Arsene Wenger in a post monitored by 9jatoday on SkySport noted the award will end in the hand of either of the two Liverpool teammate, Sadio and Salah. Noting that they are the major contenders for the African Men Best Player Award.
