Kano residents mocked fumigation by the state government:

Nigerians have taken to the social media to react to the way Kano State is handling the issue of Coronavirus, a global pandemic which has claimed thousands of lives worldwide.

In a now-viral video on social media, Twitter to be precise, a Fire Service car was seen watering the street in the name of fumigation against the dreadful virus, codenamed COVID-19.

A voice speaking in the Hausa language in the background of the video noted that this is what the Kano State government under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje is doing, spraying the whole street against the novel virus.

According to him, the state has now joined the likes of China, India, Italy, and Kano is now like America, fumigating the state with what they can not really tell if it is a Hypo liquid mixed with water or the virus itself.

The anonymous voice, however, prayed God to deliver the nation against the pandemic.

As usual, Nigerians upon seeing the post on social media mocked the state government in their reactions.

Note: Most reactions were in the Hausa language.
