Biography Of Femi Fani Kayode
David Oluwafemi Adewunmi Abdulateef Fani-Kayode was born on the 16th of December 1960 in Lagos State South Western Nigeria to the family of Chief Remilekun Adetokunbo Fani- Kayode and Mrs. Adia Adunni Fani-Kayode.
His nickname is FFK which is much more popular than his christened name. FFK is a prolific lawyer, a politician, poet, essayist, and even attended a theology school. He is no doubt full of knowledge and very educated.
Most of his education took place abroad so he is well exposed and knows the culture of most countries he has been to.
His great grandfather, grandfather, and also father are likewise very educated, they are one of the earliest Nigerians to be educated in England, the Fani-Kayode family is really blessed and they kept the trend of getting every of their family educated up till this moment.
During the era of President Olusegun Obasanjo, Femi served as the Special Assistant (Public Affairs) from July 2003 until June 2006, he had a wonderful political career.

Femi got converted to a Pentecostal Christian in 1993, he had a brief illness under the tutelage of Archbishop Nicholas Duncan- Williams of Ghana, which was when he became very close to God and there is a conviction that makes him make a decision to be a Pentecostal Christian.
This made him give his whole life to God and dropped worldly things like alcohol drinking, smoking, parties, and other sinful acts.

Immediately after he finished from the Law school and got called to Bar, Femi Fani-Kayode worked in Chief Rotimi Williams law firm for some years, he then moved to start working for his dad’s law firm named “Fani- Kayode and Sowemimo”.
With his father, he was able to work with high-ranked lawyers, S.A.Ns, Chief Sobo Sowemimo, and other respected lawyers in Nigeria. He had a wonderful early career in the law firm and he got promoted in 1989 to the Senior Partner position.
